Athalonz

Athalonz started out as a group with diverse backgrounds united by our love of sports and our passion for learning, teaching, and being of service to others. It has been the diversity of our backgrounds in Major League Baseball, Professional Golf, Orthopedics, Sports Science, and Engineering that enables us to analyze athletic performance from different viewpoints. The end result has been true innovation and the creation of some really exciting performance improving products.

the challenge
It all started with an email… “hey can you design this quick flyer”. From then on, we have been on this amazing journey with Athalonz for the over 7 years becoming their go-to for creative, design, strategy, execution, and much more. We have built their brand from the ground up, and have become their gate-keepers and partners in everything that you see. Starting with a refresh of their logo, to designing their website(s), to designing some of their shoes, to print, digital, web, social – everything you can imagine! We continue to work with them on a daily basis and have grown with each other to become family.

—  The Brand Identity Design  —
Though the client had an established logo. We were tasked to enhance and solidify the look and feel of the brand. That involved a logo refresh and identity overhaul that simplified all product lines into one brand, develop their visual language, and ultimately modernize the overall look and feel of the company. Yes, Athalonz had a logo, but the branded collateral lacked cohesion, direction, and uniformity. We created an identity system that was recognizable, memorable, and personified what the revolutionary product(s) did and what the company stood for.

—  the VISUAL LANGUAGE  —
We wanted to create a visual language that exuded and exemplify the “fusion of sports and technology”. To stand out in the over-saturated market, we used bold font, over-saturated colors, and photography and image editing that was hyper-stylized, eye catching and heroic.

—  The Website Design  —
In the initial discovery phase, Athalonz had 3 separate product lines… baseball shoes, golf shoes, and portable pitching mounds. 3 different product lines, 3 different websites. Our task was to unify the brand into one website so that we had a better results in brand recognition and search engine optimization. We designed an e-commerce website that was easy to navigate, and able to quickly choose all the different variants of each product offering.
